Norwegian Salmon set meal, one piece of salmon with some crispy fries, plus a bowl of Japanese rice and milky miso soup that had taste of milk.  Grilled salmon with some laver on top of it, taste yummy and smell good, especially with its sauce.

There are two big scallop in this bowl of ramen, make it irresistible. Besides scallops, there are boiled egg and bean sprouts.

Forum Seafood @ Boat Quay, Singapore

3-star2

DSC02774

We walked quite a while, searching for something simple for our dinner in the city of Singapore. Along the Boat Quay road, you will see there are lots of seafood restaurants and their staff standing roadside approaching customers. There were many tourist like us looking for foods while enjoying the view and lots of local people who had finished their works and enjoying their happy hours at pubs.

Most of the restaurants hard selling their foods and prices, even offering discounts up to 30% and free drinks, can you imagine how competitive along them. The crabs they were selling varies in type, but most of them sell Sri Lanka crabs, looks good but we didn’t try for this time.

We had decided to have our dinner at the Forum Seafood Restaurant which is located nearly at the end of the Boat Quay road.  I guess they were still having some renovation outside their restaurant.

Is kind of good view and comfortable here. We seated at the river side, is Singapore River side. In front are few well-known banks buildings, especially UOB bank, a Singapore bank which its buildings are huge.

Seafood Fried Rice

As that time was quite a late night, so we just had some simple foods as dinner. Quite fast in serving, but is quite small in plate. This fried rice was yummy, just a bit salty. Obviously, it had prawns, some meats, scallops, and others.

Fried Seafood Noodles

Fried noodles with seafood, quite a small plate as well. Inside this dish, had prawn, mushroom, scallop, fish meat, vegetable and squid. A lots of ingredients inside, but the sauce was too sticky and taste moderate.

We had been offer 30% discounts and free soft drinks for the first round, plus 10% service charge and 7% government tax, total cost us SD27.07. If not converting into Ringgit Malaysia, I think this is acceptable, but if you did convert to RM, then I will say is very expensive for just two small plate of “simple dinner”. It is better get more comments and suggestions online or from friends before visiting there again.
